Kansas (State) Apartment Association

KS, United States
www.aakc.us/

The Apartment Association of Kansas City was established in 1974 to serve the apartment industry along with the National Apartment Association and the Kansas and Missouri associations. Together we provide legislative insight on a local, state and national level. We serve approximately 400 members with over 43,000 units, which consist of apartment property owners, developers, managers and member communities. Also included are 150 suppliers who provide products and services to our industry. Together, our members contribute hundreds of millions of dollars to the state’s economy through taxes, fees, construction and purchases from advertising to utilities. Our association supports the Kansas and Missouri Fair Housing Law, the Kansas and Missouri Landlord Tenant Act and the Multi Housing Crime Prevention Programs; this is a cooperative effort by local police departments and a growing number of apartment communities who are making rental housing safer for residents.
